Sheikha Hind Launches Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme
Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum recently launched this programme that aims to strengthen the community values, enhance the quality of life and even promote work-life balance through financial, social, and educational support. The Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme reflects Her Highness’s dedication towards empowering and Emirati families while also fostering their stability and growth. Additionally, she reveals that it aligns with the national priorities of empowering Emirati families, upholding their values, and preparing them for future challenges.
Introducing a forward-looking vision for Emirati families, the support package includes wedding support, flexible work policies, housing assistance, social, financial & housing awareness, and educational programmes. The first phase features several key initiatives to be introduced in phases. This includes 10-day paid marriage leave for government employees and remote work options on Fridays for mothers during the first year after maternity leave.
Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme To Be Launched In Phases
The beneficiaries of the Dubai wedding programme will also get a reduced monthly premium for housing loans to a minimum of AED3,333. However, it is only valid if their monthly income does not exceed AED30,000. For the unversed, just in January of 2024, Dubai Wedding Programme was launched, which covers the cost of the main wedding ceremony and provided wedding halls and neighbourhood majilees for free.
Also, as a part of the first phase, housing support will be given in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment. As a result, ready-made housing will be allocated to loan beneficiaries under the Dubai Weddings Programme. In fact, a range of training initiatives for the members of the Weddings Programme are included. From equipping young people with essential skills to wisely plan their lives to addressing challenges positively, and courses will also be offered on social and economic aspects of marriage.

January 4th Dedicated To Sheikha Hind
The noble programme by Sheikha Hind also includes training programmes, which include financial literacy for members of the wedding initiative. It also offers courses that impart the knowledge needed to plan financially to soon-to-be married couples
The future phases will further introduce new packages and benefits. In fact, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also dedicated every January 4th to his wife, Sheikha Hind.
