Talking about the latest ‘Travel Trends Report’, Mohit Joshi, Skyscanner Travel and Destinations Expert said, “Indian travellers are not just exploring new destinations; they’re seeking meaningful and collective travel experiences. With 86% budgeting to spend the same or more on flights and 80% on accommodations in 2025, their desire to explore is stronger than ever.”

For this report, Skyscanner analysed global travel data, consumer surveys from 20,000 travellers, and industry insights. The global travel app found an exciting shift towards shared experiences and immersive adventures among travellers in 2025.

The report shows that Indians are increasingly drawn to adventures that offer a sense of community. That’s why, in 2025, travellers will be seen exploring immersive art galleries, stargazing beneath the skies, and even heading to catch their favourite sports live in the stadium. As per data, Indian travellers are increasingly seeking deeper connections while travelling. Among people aged between 25 and 34, 44% are excited to attend live sports events and support their favourite teams. Meanwhile, 47% are on the lookout for immersive art experiences.

Besides ART-Venture, Astro Adventurers, and Sport Travel, Skyscanner also found interesting travel trends like Horti-Culture for nature lovers, Reset Jetters for holistic vacationers, Gami-Vacation for Gen Z gamers, and Cowboy Core for outdoor adventure lovers.
