In this episode, Shreya talks about her life in Patna, her first time trying momo in Delhi, her journey into stand-up comedy, and much more. Shreya Priyam Roy’s Life In Patna

During the episode, Shreya Priyam Roy shared details about her life in Patna. She revealed that she lived there for the first 18 years of her life before moving to Delhi for college. Interestingly, she had never tried momo in Patna, despite them being available there. Her father never encouraged her to eat them. Whenever she wanted street food, it was always samosas or chaat. However, after coming to Delhi, she tried momo at various places and eventually found her favourite spot: Yashwant Palace, also known as Momo Market.

Talking more about her life in Patna, she shared that as a child, she would always go out with her parents. But as she grew older and started attending coaching classes, she sometimes bunked with friends to visit Maurya Lok, a popular spot with numerous food carts serving everything from bhel puri, and pav bhaji to batata puri and more. She fondly recalled how, whenever she went there with friends, they would try almost everything the place had to offer.

She also mentioned Patna’s newly developed Marine Drive. While many say it was inspired by Mumbai’s Marine Drive, she jokingly added that Patna had its own version for a long time. Now, whenever she visits her hometown, she makes it a point to go there and enjoy freshly made litti chokha.
