During an episode of Tere Gully Mein, we met and explored the famous Momo Market of Delhi’s Yashwant Place with one of the most hilarious female comedians in the Indian comedy scene, Shreya Priyam Roy. While gorging on delicious momo, she shared an incident during her college days when she was almost called back home by her parents. Here’s what happened.

Shreya Priyam Roy was born and raised in Patna. She came to Delhi for college and has been living here since. While talking about her first few months in the city, she shared that she had explored pretty much all the party places in Delhi in the first year of college itself. As you can imagine, it did get her in some trouble as well!

After partying one night, she reached her PG drunk and was caught and threatened by her landlady. The PG landlady figured out that Shreya Priyam Roy had been partying a lot and was coming back drunk as well. Shreya revealed that her landlady was very dramatic, threatened to throw her out, and even called up her parents! Hearing about this, her parents got really angry and asked her to come back home. She convinced them somehow and they let her complete her studies in the city.

Favourite Place For Litti Chokha In Delhi

While momo is love, litti chokha is an emotion for Biharis and Shreya Priyam Roy is no different! So, when we asked if she missed the famous delicacy, she said yes and even shared her favourite litti chokha places in Delhi. “Street-side hi khaya hai maine. Saket Metro Station ke bahar maine ek baar kahan tha and Saket main hi there is a food cart called Tu Litti Mein Chokha. They serve really good litti chokha and sattu sharbat,” she revealed.
