If you’re sick of regular seats on the train, you can now travel from Mumbai to Goa in a glass-roof Vistadome. 

What Is It? 

Are you a fan of enjoying the view of the lush-green countryside while you travel? Well, the Mumbai to Goa route just became way cooler! The Central Railways have introduced the Vistadome coach through the Dadar-Madgaon route. Currently, it is working as a single coach with a glass-roof and huge windows (Vistadome). It will let you enjoy the gorgeous views while you travel, so you won’t have to complain about the stuffy railway coaches.

After much talk, it has finally been introduced and we’ve got all the deets for you!

What’s In It?

Dadar-Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Express is now running with a special coach. This coach will have a glass-roof Vistadome, huge side windows, hanging LCDs and rotatable chairs. Currently, it is only running on the Dadar-Madgaon route but according to the response received from the public, more coaches and routes will be introduced.

The ticket will be approximately ₹2,235 per person for this ride. The train will run about 5 times a week normally and 3 times a week during the monsoon period. You can make your reservations from the official IRCTC website.
