Ghar ka khana is always the best. No matter how great cooking skills we have, at the end of the day, we always crave dishes made by our mums, loaded with lots of love and care. On this latest episode of Sunday Brunch, our guests from Bollywood—Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter—share their favourite Sunday Brunch at home with Curly Tales Editor-In-Chief Kamiya Jani. Who’s excited to know about their favourite celebrities’ food preferences? We are, very much!!

Sunday Brunch At Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Home In UP Is All About Burst Of Deliciousness

On being asked what Siddhant’s Sunday Brunch looked like while growing up in UP, his answers left us drooling. The actor loves to gorge on Kachori, Jalebis, and Aloo Puri made by his mum. “Subah subah to yehi hota hai ki kachori kha li, jalebi kha li, aloo puri kha li. Toh brunch humare liye woh that.” (This is what usually happened in the morning. We ate kachori, jalebi, and aloo puri. So brunch was like that for us.) Don’t tell me your mouth isn’t watering, even a bit!

Ishaan Khatter Is A Huge Fan Of Puris Too!

Ishaan loves halwa and what goes better with halwa than puri? Though actors need to avoid all these oily dishes with high calories, who doesn’t have a cheat day, right? During the conversation, Ishaan shared his fascination for halwa and puri. He doesn’t have this on every Sunday Brunch but he gets crazy when he gorges on these. He truly misses those breakfasts where he could eat halwa puri with lots of ghee.

Interestingly all our guests love to have puris for Sunday brunches. Even Katrina’s cook makes the best chole puri and aloo puri.

There is always a special taste that we find only in the foods prepared by our mothers. We just got over the festive season and I am quite sure that all of you have relished the most lip-smacking delicacies cooked by your parents.

Let us know what your family’s Sunday brunch looks like.
