Offering a unique gateway for tourists, each of the regions has something unique. And now, it has been revealed that Sindahla has become the first destination in NEOM to officially open.
Sindahla Open In NEOM
Offering unique experiences both above and below water, Sindahla has become the first region in New York to officially open to guests. Spread across a war 840,000 m², it features an 86-birth marina, which is going to usher in a new season of sailing. As it happens, this was an announcement made on X by the destination. With up to 2,400 guests per day by 2028, the distinctive luxury island has become the first physical showcase of NEOM.
Opening two years after its announcement, the island now looks absolutely unrecognisable from when it was announced. A gateway to the Red Sea, it is committed to supporting the Saudi Vision 2030 under the leadership of His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Salman.

Why Is It So Significant?
This opening also marks a significant milestone in the progress of this development. Yes, transforming the idea into reality took an extensive effort, this destination is located just 5 km from the NEOM coastline in Northwest Saudi Arabia.
As it happens, this destination blends the natural beauty of the island with tech-driven design and architectural excellence. It offers world-class restaurants, venues, and hotel experiences along with the island being designed by the yachting architecture firm, Luca Dini. So, it’s all set to welcome up to 2,400 guests per day by 2028, the island is bound to create 3500 jobs.
