Singapore’s flag carrier recently shared the upcoming introduction of air connectivity between Singapore and Beijing Daxing International Airport. According to the present updates, the airline is all set for its major launch on November 11, 2024. However, it is subject to regulatory approvals. The air connectivity with this airport will mark 24 destinations in mainland China for SIA Group, Singapore Airlines and Scoot, according to the recently released Press Release.

Singapore Airlines has significant plans to strengthen its connection to Beijing Capital International Airport. Presently, the airline operates 18 flights a week to this airport. The next plan is to increase it to 21 weekly services. It will be effective starting on August 5, 2024. Once the November launch comes into action, Singapore Airlines will provide services for 28 flights weekly to Beijing.

Mr. Dai Haoyu, Singapore Airlines’s Acting Senior Vice President of Marketing Planning, shared that this new air connectivity with Beijing Daxing will bring an extra regular operation network to the Chinese capital. Mr. Kong Yue, Beijing Daxing International Airport’s Vice President, shared how this new journey is expected to bring “a renewed sense of energy and opportunities” and meet the travel demands between both countries.
