On our recent adventure, as we explored the shimmering Marina Bay, wandered through the futuristic Gardens by the Bay, and soaked up the sun on Sentosa Island, we were mesmerised by how this city effortlessly blends innovative architecture with lush nature.
But here’s the exciting twist: every visit to Singapore reveals something new and unforgettable. So, what did we uncover this time? An abundance of vegetarian options right by these iconic landmarks!
For many travellers, the fear of limited vegetarian choices can cast a shadow over planning a trip to this stunning city-state. We felt that hesitation too — until we discovered just how plentiful and delicious plant-based dining truly is in Singapore. It’s a paradise for vegetarians and food lovers alike!
We’re thrilled to share some of the fantastic vegetarian-friendly spots we sampled and absolutely loved — and the best part? They’re all conveniently located at or near Singapore’s most famous landmarks. Get ready to savour amazing flavours while soaking in the city’s iconic sights!
1. Marina Bay
Marina Bay, Singapore’s most iconic and vibrant district, is a must-visit for any traveller. From the dynamic waterfront and soaring skyscrapers to the stunning skyline views, there’s so much to explore and admire — plus, an exciting variety of dining options offering something for every palate, including plenty of vegetarian and plant-based choices.
CT Recommends – Super Loco Customs House
While you’re walking along the famous Marina Bay, head to Super Loco Customs House for a hearty meal. The place offers flavourful Mexican vegetarian options that you can enjoy while taking in the stunning riverfront views. Bringing a slice of Mexico to Singapore, this restaurant offers a modern take on authentic Mexican flavours, and you’re bound to fall in love with their grub!
What to try? Don’t miss the scrumptious Artichoke Tostada, Roasted Cauliflower, and Mushroom Quesadilla while you’re here.

Marina Square was once the largest mall in the city and remains a popular spot with a wide variety of well-known brands. Beyond shopping, it offers plenty of dining options, including vegetarian choices, from casual eateries to cafes, making it easy to grab a bite while you’re there.
CT Recommends – Coco Veggie Nyonya Cuisine
When you’re ready to take a break from shopping and treat yourself to some delicious vegetarian food, head straight to Coco Veggie Nyonya Cuisine. Known for its authentic vegetarian Nyonya dishes, this place definitely doesn’t disappoint! Nyonya cuisine is a unique blend of Chinese and Malay flavours, featuring a complex mix of sweet, spicy, sour, and savoury notes. It’s especially famous for its slow-cooking methods and the use of aromatic herbs and spices.
What to try? Don’t miss the Butterfly Pea Flower Coconut Steamed Rice, Superior Ramen, and Rojak. The ramen is a crowd favourite thanks to its rich, flavorful broth and tender noodles.

3. Gardens by the Bay
If you’re someone who loves being surrounded by lush greenery, Gardens by the Bay is an absolute must-visit. This sprawling 101-hectare national garden is a vibrant oasis right in the heart of bustling Singapore. What truly steals the show are its breathtaking conservatories—like futuristic glass domes—featuring vibrant floral displays that captivate the senses and brighten the surroundings. Whether you’re wandering beneath the iconic Supertrees or exploring themed gardens, every corner promises a refreshing escape and plenty of photo-worthy moments.
CT Recommends – Satay by the Bay
With plenty of food options scattered throughout Gardens by the Bay, we decided to settle down at Satay by the Bay — a laid-back, open-air food court tucked away in one of the garden’s quietest corners. Surrounded by greenery and offering picturesque waterfront views, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after all the exploring. While it’s known for its wide selection of satay, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian dishes available too — tasty, satisfying, and just what we needed to refuel.
What to try? While the satay is a crowd-puller, there’s more to explore on the menu. Try the Cheesy Nacho Dumplings or Popiah — a local delicacy that’s light, fresh, and full of flavour. Craving Indian food? You’re in luck! Dishes like Garlic Naan and Paneer Butter Masala are also available, offering hearty and satisfying options for those in the mood for something rich and comforting.

4. Sentosa Island
When one thinks of Singapore, Sentosa definitely comes to mind—it’s practically synonymous with the city-state’s promise of fun and relaxation. This stunning island resort just off the southern coast truly lives up to its Malay name, which means ‘peace and tranquillity.’ Besides its beautiful beaches, Sentosa is packed with hundreds of restaurants—and we were pleasantly surprised that more than half of them serve tasty vegetarian options.

If you love Italian food, our top recommendation is Trapizza. Located right on Siloso Beach, this beachfront Italian restaurant is famous for its signature thin-crust pizzas, handcrafted pasta, and authentic Italian desserts. And don’t miss out on their creative twists on classic cocktails—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.
What to try? You’ll find plenty of vegetarian options on the menu, with a special recommendation being the Rigatoni All’ Arrabbiata pasta—an absolute must-try.
