We Played ‘This Or That’ With Sohum Shah
During this episode of Sunday Brunch, we got to know all about Sohum Shah, his life in Ganganagar, and his love for food. He revealed that while Ganganagar is a small town in Rajasthan, it is steeped in Punjabi culture. When it comes to food, he loves both Rajasthani and Punjabi cuisines equally. While we enjoyed an authentic Rajasthani meal with him at Shri Thaker Bhojnalaya, we decided to put his love for food to the test with a fun game of ‘This or That’, where he had to pick between two food items.
First, we asked him to choose between an Aloo Samosa and a Kachori, and he said he would go with the Kachori, only if it’s from Rawat in Jaipur! Next, he chose Rabri Falooda over Chhena Mithai. Then, when we asked him to pick between Punjabi Chole Bhature and Rajasthani Dal Baati Churma, he totally surprised us by choosing Chole Bhature! He also picked Lassi over Chaas, Desi Ghee Roti over Makki Ki Roti, and a sarson ka khet in winter over cotton fields in summer.
