Sonakshi Sinha Shared About Talking To Her Parents About Her Wedding Plans

Kamiya Jani, our Editor-in-Chief, invited Sonakshi and Zaheer for a post-wedding Sunday Brunch and the trio had a wonderful conversation about the actors’ personal lives, travel diaries, marriage stories, and so much more. It has been a few months since Sona and Iqbal got married and we absolutely loved seeing their intimate celebrations and wedding festivities at the bride’s residence.

While sharing memorable moments and fun anecdotes from their marriage, Sonakshi shared how she talked with her mom and dad about deciding to marry her boyfriend. Her conversation with her parents was quite the opposite of her expectations. While she overthought imagining their reactions, she was actually shocked to get their responses after listening to her plans.

During the conversation, Sonakshi revealed, “I got the shock of my life. They were so calm and chill about it. And my dad was even better.” Like most women prefer sharing their dating status with their mothers before informing fathers, the actor also shared about being in a relationship with Zaheer to her mom first. After about 1-2 years, she talked about it with her father.

How Did Shatrughan Sinha React Listening To Sona Planning To Marry Zaheer?

Sonakshi expressed how her dad was very rational about her marriage plans with Zaheer. The veteran star agreed to her daughter’s decision sharing how both Sonakshi and Zaheer are grown-up people and love each other. “You all make each other happy. That’s all that matters. I am happy for you if this is what you want in your life,” Shatrughan Sinha said to her daughter.
