Sonu Sood Became A Vegetarian Many Years Back
On this episode of Sunday Brunch, Sonu Sood shared small details of his lifestyle. Needless to say, we are inspired to see his immense dedication towards fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle. In conversation with Kamiya Jani, the Bollywood actor talked about his diet and how he only indulges in vegetarian food.
Ever since a young age, he decided to avoid the consumption of non-vegetarian dishes. As a kid, he informed his parents about his decision to turn vegetarian. Being a vegetarian and a health enthusiast, he always wanted his younger sister to follow a similar diet to him. However, his wish did not turn into a reality.
Sonu’s older sister loves non-vegetarian delicacies. Whenever the actor tried changing his younger sister’s food preferences, their didi stopped him from doing so. She asked him to follow his fitness regime and let the younger one follow her kind of non-vegetarian diet and indulge in nutrition from fish and meat.

Though Sonu couldn’t transform his sister’s diet, he attempted the same with his kids. After becoming a father, he wanted his little ones to eat only veg food. However, his wife stopped him in between and did not let him change their diets. And now, Sonu is the only vegetarian in his family of non-vegetarian lovers.
The Actor Prefers Eating Rice Over Chapati
Sonu Sood grew up enjoying yummy homemade parathas for most of his life. But now, his diet and food preferences have transformed a lot. More than his favourite dishes, his present priority is eating the right dishes for good health and great fitness. He revealed in the interview that he does not eat paratha or roti anymore. Instead, he likes eating rice with dal for lunch. Salad is another healthy food that he loves relishing.
