The actor, widely known for his humanitarian work during the COVID-19 pandemic, is now extending support to an elderly farmer from Hadolti village in the Latur district of Maharashtra. Sonu Sood never fails to impress with his kind gestures toward the underprivileged. A video recently surfaced on the internet showing a 76-year-old farmer, Ambadas Pawar, ploughing his field manually, without bullocks or a tractor. In this era of advanced technology, the farmer was relying on his hands to do the task. In the heart-wrenching video, a poor farmer was seen ploughing his field manually with the help of his wife. Sonu Sood shared the video on his X handle, where the caption stated, “Aap number bhejiye, hum bail bhejte hain.” Netizens, as always, came up with their questions. One X user suggested sending a tractor instead of bullocks, to which the actor responded, “Hamare is kisaan bhai ko tractor chalana nahi aata, isliye bail hi badhiya hai, dost.” Through this thoughtful help, the farmer’s life will be at ease.

Take A Look At The Farmer’s Distressing Story
According to reports by the Free Press Journal, the farmer shared how no one had noticed his efforts over the past 10 years. He shared that a man saw him ploughing the field, recorded a video, and uploaded it online. The video gained traction and quickly went viral, catching the attention of Sonu Sood. After the video surfaced, even the district officer and state minister reached out to him. The farmer also appealed to the Indian government for help in repaying his loan of ₹40,000. He added that although his son works in the city, the elderly couple receives no support from him.
During the lockdown, Sonu Sood stepped up to help countless people, arranging buses and flights for stranded workers and students. He supported everyone who reached out, helping with hospital beds, vaccines, medicines, food, and other essential supplies.
