Soon, the number will double.

This extraordinary initiative has been proven to cut down boarding times to a huge extent and simplify passengers’ experiences as well. The mobile app services provide hassle-free experiences. Also, the staff is present at many airports to assist travellers in case of any inconveniences. The entire process of entering an airport has never been easier and faster and the credit goes to the advanced facial recognition technology.

According to a report by The Financial Express, DigiYatra will soon be introduced at 14 airports. The airports are located in these Indian cities:

Previously, we all entered airports after the stationed authorities checked documents and tickets manually. However, the installation of DigiYatra has removed this process completely. Now, passengers do not need to carry all paper documents in hand with their bags while entering the airport gates. The biggest advantage of this biometric-based facility is offering contactless and paperless entry during check-in.

The Service Is Presently Available At These Airports

According to the latest updates, DigiYatra is operating smoothly at a total of 13 airports in India. Back on December 1, 2022, DigiYatra was inaugurated in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Varanasi, in its initial phase. Next, the facility was launched at Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, and Vijayawada airports. Soon, it began to expand to other airports with millions of passengers using it.

Presently, DigiYatra is available at these airports.
