Etihad Airways and Ethiopian Airlines have joined hands in a landmark joint venture. Yes, strengthening the ties between Abu Dhabi and Addis Ababa, the airlines will be launching new flights. Yes, Ethiopian Airlines will commence services from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport to Zayed International Airport on July 15. The Etihad Airways will be introducing daily flights to Addis Ababa from October 1 onwards. Once it is approved, a joint venture will enable both airlines to collaborate in developing and expanding routes between the two countries. Yes, this is not only going to enhance connectivity but is also going to deliver greater value to passengers.

This partnership offers convenience and exceptional service to travellers while also strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. The joint venture is a shared commitment offering expanded travel options to the passengers. These will give access to people to major African destinations on the network of Ethiopian Airlines, which includes Tanzania; Kampala, Uganda; Kinshasa, DR Congo; Dar Es Salaam, and Lusaka, Zambia. It’s worth mentioning that Ethiopian Airlines will operate the new route with its modern fleet, which includes Boeing 777 and Airbus A350-1000. Offering passengers a comfortable travel experience, the airline will offer extensive connectivity from the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
