Soon, Sharjah To Get The Longest Green River In The Gulf Region; All About The AED3.5 Bn Project

UAE is a hotbed for development with many projects happening across the country to enhance the living for the residents. And now, the most recent one that is being talked about quite a lot is the longest Green River that’s expected to come up in Sharjah. This will be the longest Green River in the Gulf region. Here’s all you need to know about the AED3.5 billion mixed-use project.

Launched by Kuwait real estate company Aqara, and IFA Hotel & Resorts, the Green River will be located on the Emirates Road near Sharjah Grand Mosque. It will be in the newly launched Al Tay Hills, which will be spanning over 2.5 km. Complete with extensive green spaces, natural beauty, and serving the natural lung and central artery of the development, this green river has been designed in a unique recreational shape.

As mentioned in a report by Khaleej Times, it offers fresh air, dedicated walking parts, and relaxation areas. Moreover, there will be a vast playground, mosque, restaurants, cafes, retail outlets, swimming pool, and a walking & cycling path, which sums up to 11 km.

What Will The Development Include?

The newly launched community will be spread over 6 million square feet and house 1,100 townhouses and villas. These would range from three bedrooms to six bedrooms. Yes, and the prices will begin at AED1.8 million and go as high as AED7.2 million. In fact, the project is going to be developed in three phases with the first phase expected to be ready for delivery in the first quarter of 2028.

Setting new standards for sustainable living in the region, this initiative is bound to make the emirate all the more appealing to investors and people who are looking to buy properties.
