Park Now Pay Later In Dubai?
Parkin PJSC, which is the largest operator of parking facilities in the emirate has announced new services for the customers. Yes, as revealed by the Khaleej Times, this is aimed at enhancing the customer experience. And it was announced that they will now be introducing auto pay and pay later features. This means customers will be able to park their cars and pay late with the feature! This announcement was made after the visit by Mattar Al Tayer, Director General & Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA).

Revealed During A Meeting With Mattar Al Tayer
During the meeting, parking officials introduced expansion plans for parking infrastructure across Dubai. They highlighted that advanced smart technologies will be integrated. In fact, new customer call centres were also announced. This could accommodate more than 500 customer interactions daily. Moreover, just last week, Parkin also announced select parking locations in Dubai would offer automotive services. This would include car washing, engine oil changes, tyre checks, mobile or on-the-go refuelling, battery inspections, and other essential vehicle maintenance services.
With the expansion of the operation in the emirate, the company also plans to expand beyond the borders and its growth strategies. In fact, just towards the end of 2024, it was announced that the Saudi-based also has plans of expansion domestically. Yes, with expansion in the domestic parking sector to expand paid parking services in Saudi markets as well.
