SpiceJet is set to enhance its domestic network by launching 24 new flights this summer, connecting more cities across India. With an increasing demand for air travel, SpiceJet is expanding its services to cater to passengers seeking convenient and affordable travel options. The airline has introduced new routes to Tuticorin, Porbandar, and Dehradun while also increasing flight frequency on several key sectors.
SpiceJet Expands Network With New Destinations
SpiceJet’s latest expansion includes three new destinations, strengthening its presence in the domestic aviation market. The airline is launching flights to Tuticorin, a major port city in Tamil Nadu, with daily direct services to Chennai and Bengaluru. This will allow passengers to enjoy seamless travel between these business hubs.
Porbandar, famous as the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, is now directly connected to Mumbai with SpiceJet’s new bi-weekly service operating on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Meanwhile, Dehradun, a key gateway to the Himalayas, will benefit from new direct flights linking it to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, ensuring smoother travel for tourists and business travellers alike.

SpiceJet Introduces Additional Routes & Resumes Flights
Apart from adding new destinations, SpiceJet is also expanding its reach by launching additional routes. New direct flights will connect Ahmedabad to Srinagar and Pune to Varanasi, enhancing connectivity for travellers.
Moreover, it is resuming services on high-demand routes, such as Bengaluru to Goa and Pune to Chennai, which had previously been suspended. This move aligns with the airline’s strategy to provide passengers with more travel flexibility.
SpiceJet Strengthens Its Position In The Aviation Industry
SpiceJet’s decision to expand its domestic network comes at a time when India’s aviation industry is experiencing a surge in travel demand. Despite challenges like supply chain issues affecting aircraft availability, SpiceJet remains committed to enhancing connectivity across the country.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has forecasted a 5.5% rise in weekly flights compared to last year’s summer schedule, indicating a strong recovery in air travel. With SpiceJet’s new flights, passengers now have more options to explore destinations conveniently and affordably.
