According to a report by Times of India, it was mentioned that the Kochi-Dubai flight was delayed by 24 hours. Yes, causing immense difficulties for passengers of the flight, as per the original schedule, the flight was supposed to depart from Kochi Airport on Saturday, 11:30 PM. However, this could not happen due to some technical issues. As a result, the flight was massively delayed by 24 hours, which meant that the flight departed the next day, which was Sunday at 11:30 PM.
According to the statement mentioned in the report by the airline, it was revealed that they had to procure a piece of machinery that was required to fix this problem. And this was the reason for the massive delay. However, according to the same report, it was revealed that passengers mentioned that the airline did not provide an alternative flight.

Not The Only SpiceJet Flight Delayed
This is not the first time that the passengers of the SpiceJet flight on the Dubai route had to face problems. Quite recently, several flights from Dubai had been cancelled due to non-payment as a result, hundreds of passengers were affected and they were later provided accommodation and alternate flights were rebooked. In fact, a Delhi-bound SpiceJet flight had to make a precautionary landing at Bagdogra Airport due to a technical snag. This Boeing 737 aircraft had landed safely and passengers were later disembarked. As a result, an alternate aircraft has also been arranged.
