In fact, the city of Al Ain went ahead and even broke the Guinness World Record with its spectacular display of fireworks. As revealed in a report by Khaleej Times, Al Ain city saw a brilliant display of fireworks that was even successful in setting a new Guinness World Record. Yes, it broke the Guinness World Record on December 2, 2024, with the longest chain of fireworks that was spread across 11.1 km. The fireworks were conducted by Al Ain City Municipality and this breathtaking display truly left people astounded.

It Lasted 50 Seconds & Were Launched From 51 Platforms

Lasting 50 seconds, the fireworks broke the record after it was launched from 51 platforms. As it happens, this is the second record that has been achieved by the authority during this year. Yes, it also recorded the largest Bouquet of Flowers just in February. Not only in Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah also broke the Guinness World Records on January 1. Yes, as the Emirate welcomes 2024, they displayed an eight-minute-long firework and drone display. As a result, two titles were broken, which were the Longest Chain of Aquatic Floating Fireworks for 5.8 km and the Longest Straight Line Drone Display for 2 km.
