This reopening is part of the planned second phase of Udyan Utsav that was announced in February this year. Spread over 15 acres of land, the gardens at Rashtrapati Bhavan are turned into a landscaping marvel for visitors to witness the blooming of seasonal flowers. You can see rare varieties of flowers like Coleus, Celosia, Tuberose and more in full glory at this edition of Amrit Udyan.

Besides the beautiful blooms, there are multiple attractions here waiting for you as well. For the kids, there is a specially curated garden called Bal Vatika. Children can enjoy some time in nature under a 225-year-old Sheesham tree, play in the treehouse or Nature’s Classroom here. You can also enjoy the vibrant food court here while witnessing the various ongoing exhibitions.

Furthermore, there will also be a Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav which will be celebrated as part of Amrit Udyan from September 12th to 15th. The event will showcase the rich cultural heritage and unique traditions of Southern India in this 4-day extravaganza.
