Ministry Of Crab Lands in Goa For A Culinary Affair At W Goa

For the very first time in the sunny paradise of Goa, the Ministry of Crab, Mumbai, will present its signature dishes. It is renowned for its culinary finesse in curating the finest seafood encounters. Their artistry combines the best Indian mud crabs with authentic Sri Lankan ingredients. It is also curated with a nod to Japanese culinary philosophies. Housed within the beautiful heritage site in Khar, Mumbai, the Ministry of Crab has garnered acclaim for its commitment to delivering a seafood experience par excellence.

Prepare for a gastronomic odyssey as the specially curated four-course set menu takes centre stage, tantalising taste buds during daily dinners and weekend lunches. The non-vegetarian indulgence begins with the Avocado Crab Salad, where steamed crab meat harmonises with wasabi mayo. Following suit, the garlic-chili prawns is paired with the traditional Sri Lankan kade bread. It presents a dish reflecting the chef’s heritage, a blend of Japanese and Sri Lankan influences.

The pièce de résistance is the Pepper Crab, a Ministry of Crab signature. The succulent crab is bathed in a peppercorn-infused sauce, teasing palates with its mildly spicy allure. Concluding this epicurean journey is the Coconut Crème Brûlée, a tropical rendition of the classic dessert.

For the vegetarians, the feast commences with the Avocado Tomato Salad, marrying freshly smashed avocado with soy-poached cherry tomatoes. The flavorful Moc(k) Baked Crab, a mushroom-based delight, offers a savoury twist in a rich béchamel sauce. The main course, a Goan curry, celebrates local flavours with a rich medley of ingredients, delivering a delightful Goan essence. A sweet denouement awaits in the form of the exotic Coconut Crème Brûlée, concluding the dining experience.
