Interviews for airport loaders for Air India Airport Services Ltd recruitment drive were conducted on Tuesday. According to multiple reports and videos circulating on social media, over 25,000 job seekers headed for the interviews. According to a report by NDTV, there were 2,216 vacancies for the job. However, a huge number of applicants turned up at the Air India colony causing a stampede-like chaos.

With no time, the crowd began to get intense in Kalina. The Air India Airport Services Limited staff were unable to control the rush and pressure from such a huge number of aspirants. Later, the job seekers just submitted their resumes and were asked not to wait at the venue as it could have led to a potentially risky stampede, according to a report by Moneycontrol.

Social media platforms are flooding with snippets of this frightening incident seen at the job interview for airport loaders. Some glimpses show how people pushed through just to submit forms and applications. The thronging of aspirants was unorganised to such an extent that many among them climbed trees to reach their destinations.
