Stones Pelted At Vande Bharat Express Near Himachal Pradesh’s Una; Shattered 2 Window Panes & Damaged 4 Coaches

Another day and another horrifying news of stones being pelted on trains. The recent news concerns a shocking incident reported on a Vande Bharat Express. Reportedly, miscreants targeted the New Delhi-bound Vande Bharat Express by throwing stones at a few coaches near Basal village in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district. Stones Pelted At Vande Bharat Express In Himachal Pradesh

According to multiple reports surfacing on social media platforms, some pelters threw stones at the semi-high-speed train near Basal Village on Saturday afternoon. It was around 1:15 PM when they attacked the train and hurled stones, according to a recent article published by The Free Press Journal. The train was on its way to New Delhi railway station from Amb Andaura railway station in Himachal Pradesh.

Damages were seen on four coaches of this express. These unidentified attackers also broke the window panes of two coaches of the Vande Bharat Express. Though there are reports of some damages and shattered window panes, thankfully no passengers onboard those coaches and the entire train sustained any injury.

Following the terrible incident,  the Vande Bharat Express’ loco pilot contacted the RPF. Soon, the RPF headed to the location of the stone pelting incident and conducted an inspection. They discovered that thrown stones triggered heavy damage in four coaches. The train’s wrecked coaches are -1, E-2, C-7 and C-10.

Further Updates From The Officials

A team of officials stationed to work on this incident shared important details following the initial stage of the investigation. According to their updates, some unidentified people threw stones near Una district’s Basal village and caused the damages mentioned above.

A team of railway police officials are working to evaluate the damages to the coaches and window panes of the train. They are taking the necessary steps to find miscreants involved in pelting stones on the Vande Bharat Express travelling from Amb Andaura to New Delhi.

Unfortunately, another scary episode of pelting stones on Vande Bharat Express was reported. They hurled stones at Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express. The train was on a trial run in the Mahasamund district. Officials arrested five people for throwing stones at the train.
