In 1998, Heena lost her husband in a car accident, she faced a lot of difficulties while surviving with a 5-year-old son, there were times when she went to bed empty stomach. Looking at the pain and hunger of needy, orphans and old age people amid this pandemic, Heena and her son decided to heal from their pain while feeding them. This Mother-Son duo from Kandivali, Mumbai have been feeding 250 needy daily through their small delivery kitchen- Harsh Thali & Paranthas. As of today, they have served 12000 meals, 27000 Tawa Rotis and collected the donation of 5 Lakhs through their – Feed The Needy Initiative.
