For the past 130 years, Mumbai Dabbawala Association has been delivering tiffins to 2,00,000 Mumbaikars with the manpower of 5000 workers. But today, they are out of a job due to the pandemic. With things opening up, around 250 dabbawalas have gathered their courage and started delivering tiffins on cycle. Whereas, more than 4500 Dabbawalas and their families from Mumbai are still struggling to pay house rent, send their kids to school and even afford food.
