In an unfortunate turn of events, a student of Jai Hind College found a small stone in a vada pav ordered from the college canteen. Read on to know more about the incident.

This is not the first time that students have complained about the quality of food served at their college canteens. We have heard multiple news reports of these young people being dissatisfied with the kind of food found at their canteens, hostels, PGs, and other educational institutions across India.

This time, the complaint was made by a student of the famous Jai Hind College in Mumbai’s Churchgate. According to the information provided in the Reddit post, the student found a small-sized stone in the vada pav ordered from the college canteen. Unfortunately, this is not the first issue regarding the food quality.

The student also added that cooks here prepare most food items in a disturbing and unhygienic way. ‘Students deserve clean, safe food, not health hazards,’ the post further read. Many students are dependent on the college canteen for lunch and break-time food and these incidents are indeed very concerning. The Redditor disappointedly shared that the college canteen is not safe for students and it is going to cost their lives.

Why are you people waiting for a tragedy that can be avoided?’ asked a Redditor. A comment read, ‘Bruh you need to complain to the right authorities.’ Someone hilariously wrote, ‘Khada masala.’ A Netizen called it ‘patthar wala vada paon.’
