Emirati astronaut, Sultan AlNeyadi’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. With his six-month mission at the International Space Station, he created history with many firsts, and the people of the United Arab Emirates have certainly been left feeling proud of these achievements. And now, post his return to earth, the astronaut has shared a heartwarming message for his followers, and here is what it says.

Sultan AlNeyadi Shares Health Update

Sultan AlNeyadi recently took to his official account on X (formerly Twitter) to share his health updates and snippets from his return journey. Yes, he shared the first message on the microblogging website after his successful splashdown journey on Earth on Monday, September 4. It should be noted that Crew-6 departed from the International Space Station on Sunday, September 3, and the splashdown happened early morning of Monday in the Atlantic Ocean, off Jacksonville in Florida. In his post, the Emirati astronaut is seen giving an update that he is in good health and looks forward to meeting everybody soon. Not to mention, the heartfelt message was also posted along with a few pictures that were probably taken during the egressing process of the astronauts from the Dragon spacecraft.

This Is His First Post Since Return

It should be noted that Sultan AlNeyadi conducted more than 200 experiments during his time at ISS, which also included some that had been assigned by NASA and others that were set out by the universities in the UAE. Moreover, notable personalities from across the UAE took to their social media accounts to share congratulatory messages with the Emirati astronaut. At this point, it’s a well-known fact that he became the first Emirati astronaut to spend an extended amount of time in space, and the first Arab astronaut to perform spacewalk. Ever since the message was shared by the Emirati astronaut, it has gone viral with more than 400 retweets in under an hour.

It is expected that once the astronaut has undergone all the necessary medical checkups and has had the opportunity to acclimatise himself back to the atmosphere of Earth, he will return to the UAE where he will be given a hero’s welcome.
