One of the most extravagant and loved EDM festivals of India, Sunburn Goa is coming back with its 18th edition. This time, however, the festival will be held against the scenic backdrop of South Goa! The three-day celebration will take place from December 28 to 30 and here’s everything you need to know about it!

Sunburn 2024 Is Coming To South Goa With An ‘Underwater World’ Theme

The globally acclaimed annual extravaganza, Sunburn Goa has a new home this year! For their 18th edition, Sunburn Goa 2024 will be heading to South Goa. While the new venue hasn’t been announced yet, Sunburn has confirmed that they will not be hosting the year’s festival at Vagator Beach in North Goa.

The festival will kickstart on December 28 and will go on till December 30, making it the perfect year-end celebration! The theme of Sunburn 2024 is ‘Underwater World.’ Drawing inspiration from this wondrous world, Sunburn promises to take festival-goers on a fantastical journey of music, dance and wonder with the exhilarating beats of EDM in the background! They will transform the venue to keep up with the theme and to give people a fully immersive 360° experience.

The registrations for Sunburn Goa 2024 have started on BookMyShow. Once you sign up, you will be the first to receive ticket notifications and have access to early ticket sales as well. The pre-sale for registered users will start from July 21. The public ticket sale begins on July 24.

Festival Highlights & Their Special Eco-Friendly Campaign

This three-day celebration promises an unparalleled fusion of music, fashion, food and culture. More than 150 international and Indian artists are expected to deliver electrifying performances across seven stages during Sunburn 2024. They will also have interactive art installations, immersive experiences and adventure zones, all centred around the ‘Underwater World’ theme at this festival.

Attendees can also explore fashion pop-ups showcasing underwater-inspired fashion. For the foodies, there will be a food village featuring a fusion of local and international cuisines. So, you can eat, drink, and enjoy music while you’re there.

Sunburn has also introduced an eco-friendly campaign ‘Leave No Trace’ for this festival. Keeping in mind the golden rule of ‘Recycle, Reuse and Restore’, the campaign will encourage fans to celebrate the spirit of music in an eco-friendly manner. They will have recycling stations for plastic, glass and other materials and also daily clean-ups throughout the festival. With the help of the attendees, Sunburn wishes to make this festival one of the most eco-friendly festivals in Asia.
