Kombucha has gained global popularity for its purported health benefits, including improved digestion and boosted immunity. Sbooch, a Mumbai-based company, is making waves with its introduction of preservative-free kombucha. Partnering with Bollywood actor and fitness icon Suniel Shetty, Sbooch brings a blend of wellness and flavour that aligns with contemporary health trends.

What Is Sbooch?

Launching this July, Sbooch gives high-quality, preservative-free kombucha. The brand has taken a unique approach by emphasizing the natural, unadulterated nature of its product. Unlike many commercially available kombucha brands that might use preservatives or artificial flavours, Sbooch prides itself on delivering a pure, authentic kombucha experience.

Sbooch Kombucha contains farm-produced fruits, vegetables, and raw materials. Less than 4 grams of natural sugar are included in each 100-millilitre serving, and this sugar is utilised for fermentation. The products have 18 months of shelf life in the absence of preservatives.

The brand’s portfolio includes diverse flavours influenced by the wide culinary landscape of India. The creator of Ekaa and the culinary genius of Sbooch, Chef Niyati, has created a variety of distinctive flavours. Among them are Tulsi Lemon from Uttar Pradesh, Gor Keri from Gujarat, and Koshimbir from Maharashtra.

Moreover, Sbooch is collaborating on this revolution in gut health with Bollywood actor and fitness legend Suniel Shetty. Known for his dedication to fitness and healthy living, Shetty brings a layer that bridges the gap between traditional Indian dietary habits and modern wellness trends.

Rise Of Kombucha For Gut Health

In India, where traditional beverages often include chai and buttermilk, kombucha has slowly started to gain traction as an alternative health drink. The market for health-focused beverages is expanding, driven by increasing awareness about gut health and overall wellness.  Traditionally enjoyed in various cultures, this effervescent drink is made by fermenting sweetened tea with a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY). The result is a tangy, slightly sweet beverage that many health enthusiasts swear by.

Sbooch’s introduction of preservative-free kombucha to the Indian market holds the potential to inspire other innovations in the health food sector. Soon, their website and social media platforms will provide the drop-off dates for people to reserve their drinks in advance.
