Talking about the incident, the OP stated that they placed a COD order and their mobile switched off suddenly while paying for the food delivery. While the Redditor asked the delivery person to wait for a couple of minutes, he asked for water to quench his thirst. Soon, this simple request turned into a terrifying interaction.
The food delivery package had a chai order and they asked the guy to take the beverage. Recalling, a creepy experience with this Swiggy delivery agent, the OP stated that instead of accepting the tea, he asked them to serve him. Strangely, he asked to enter the customer’s house too. They felt super uncomfortable following this conversation.
In this alarming situation, the Redditor locked the door and gave him tea poured into a paper cup. Still, he kept pestering by asking to come inside and it freaked out the OP. With no solution in hand, they called their neighbour to pay the Swiggy delivery guy. Unfortunately, they did not feel safe anymore while standing inside their house. We can only imagine how spine-chilling the experience might have been.
Things Escalated Soon…For Worse
This Swiggy delivery guy not only made the customer uncomfortable while delivering the parcel but he took things on a sadly horrifying level after delivering food items. Later, he called the OP via Swiggy’s system. After calling, he asked for their mobile number and raised concerns stating that he had not been paid.
The Redditor shared how this unexpected incident has left them shaken. According to the OP, Swiggy must take more steps to address these behaviours.
