According to a press release which was recently shared, the telos behind launching such a feature is to ensure the privacy of the users. Shared accounts are on the rise. Under such circumstances, planning surprises for those who share an account with you may be difficult.

Users may come to know of the surprise from the order history section. Hence, in order to increase discreteness in such scenarios, this new feature may be very useful. In addition to this, users can also use it to purchase items on Instamart.

This feature may also come in handy when users need to purchase health and wellness products from the quick-commerce section of the app. The feature is easy to use and you can activate it via the toggle in your cart.

Once the incognito mode is activated, the order will still be traceable for as long as three hours after delivery. This will ensure that any mishap that occurs during such deliveries can be addressed without the hassle of lack of details.

As of now, the feature is only available to 10 per cent of the users. Once all the kinks and bugs have been solved, it will be rolled out to all of the users of this app. It is hoped that the feature will make ordering food online more convenient.
