Desi foodies are extremely possessive about their favourite dishes and food choices. When it comes to comfort food or delicacies that are close to our hearts, we all have our special ways to devour them. From making a cup of chai at home to cooking unique Maggi recipes, we love adding that me-touch to food items we love. Swiggy might have stirred a heated conversation while showing how to eat poha. How are Netizens reacting to the post? Let’s find out.

Eating Poha With Ketchup Is The Only Right Way, Swiggy Shared

Swiggy Food took to its X handle to share the self-claimed “only right way to enjoy poha.” As shown in the picture, a plate of poha is garnished with sev and ketchup on top. If you are like me and do not like tomato sauce, I can completely understand how you are feeling at the moment.

People worldwide use ketchup in different cooking recipes and as a condiment. It might be a widely popular sauce and found present in most refrigerators but foodies clearly have a love-hate relationship with it. Do you wish to know if someone likes tomato sauce or not? Just ask people if they like ketchup with a bowl of Maggi and you will find your answer.

Poha is savoured in various ways. Households have their special ways of relishing it. Some prefer adding kanda (onion) while many love grated coconut on the breakfast staple. Many foodies also love topping this Maharashtrian dish with roasted peanuts. Let us know how you like to eat this famous delicacy.

Understandably, Netizens Dislike This Way To Eat Poha

I imagined how most X users would react to Swiggy Food’s post on the right way to enjoy this breakfast preparation. I am not even surprised to see their responses and disapproval of the combination of poha and tomato ketchup. This combo can be considered an infamous one, right?

Reacting to Swiggy’s post, a Netizen commented, “Don’t mess with poha. If you don’t know how to cook, learn but don’t spoil the food.” Calling tomato sauce on poha the worst combination, someone wrote, “Yeah, so that no one dares to even look at your plate.”
