You all must have scene actors performing dances or posing as a part of the script on aircraft wings. But they perform such stunts with all due safety, as a fall from that height on a hard surface can be life-threatening. Something similar happened with Swiss Air Lines. Cabin crew members were spotted dancing atop the wing in a viral video and got slammed by their bosses for the same.

Swiss Air Lines Cabin Crew Dance Atop Plane Wing

In a video that is currently going viral on the internet, cabin crew members of Swiss International Air Lines are seen on the aircraft wing.

The airhostess was seen dancing on the wing first, after which she signalled the other member to come. The male member pulled off some bodybuilding poses on the wing.

The incident took place at an airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the flight was to return to Zurich via São Paulo, Brazil.

The spokesperson for Swiss International Airlines, Michael Pelzer, said that the actions of the crew members in the video are completely life-threatening. He mentioned that the wings of the Boeing 777 were five metres above the ground, and a fall from there would have been devastating.

Michael mentioned that crew members are allowed to step on the wings only during emergency situations. Such actions are reserved for their technical staff, who are well trained for them.

He said that this behaviour by the crew members does not correspond with the security requirements of the airlines.

While the video was shot, the plane was empty. It is believed that the crew was trying to kill time.

Martin Knuchel, Head of Cabin Crew and Vice President of Swiss International Air Lines, criticized this behaviour. He expressed that he got angry and disappointed after watching the viral video.
