The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visit to the United Arab Emirates has been all over the news. This official visit comes after the Indian Prime Minister also recently visited France. And like every meeting, there was a banquet that was hosted and we are here to give you a glimpse of the meals served at this banquet.

Indian PM Served Veg Meal At The Banquet Host By The UAE President

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the UAE has been creating quite a buzz in the media. He was greeted by Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi at the Airport. And of course, like any other state visit, there was a banquet following the talks. As it happens, there was a specially curated vegetarian meal at the banquet hosted by the UAE President and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Yes, as reported by the Times of India, the menu was complete with delectable local vegetarian dishes that seem quite innovative.

What Did The Menu Include?

For the salad, there was Harees and date salad that was complemented by local organic vegetables. This was followed by the starters, which included grilled vegetables in masala sauce. Coming to the main course, the snapshot of the menu showed that there was Black Lentil and local Harees to be served with Cauliflower and Carrot Tandoori. Finally, for dessert, there was a selection of seasonal fruits, as reported by the Times Of India. Not to mention, the menu also included a note, which mentioned that all the meals were vegetarian and had been prepared with vegetable oil containing no dairy or egg products. Moreover, Dubai’s iconic skyscraper, Burj Khalifa also lit up in the Indian tricolour to welcome the Prime Minister with a special light and sound show.
