Just when the world was returning back to normalcy, the spike in COVID-19 cases is throwing everything else in jeopardy. To prevent the further spread of the disease, the Tamil Nadu government has issued fresh guidelines for both domestic and international travellers. Tamil Nadu has made E-pass mandatory for all passengers travelling to the state, except those from neighbouring places like Puducherry, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.
E-Pass Mandatory For Contact Tracing
The move comes in the wake of the rise in COVID-19 cases in states like Maharashtra, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. An e-pass will allow the government to trace the travelers’ contact and if they tested positive during their stay in the state. So if you are planning to travel to Tamil Nadu, you must generate an auto e-pass first?
