Tapasya Paratha Junction in Rohtak has claimed its fame by serving jumbo parathas that are stuffed with vegetables and served with chutney and butter. This place serves around 50 varieties of parathas that the customers love to devour on and have been faithful to because of its amazing taste. Owned by Mr. Mukesh Ghelawat, has been running this restaurant for the past 11 years now and has named it after his daughter, Tapasya.
The parathas are not only delicious and big, but they also have a reward on it – If you finish eating 3 jumbo parathas in 50 minutes then you get free paratha for a lifetime at this place.
What’s In It?
The parathas are made with a lot of dedication, the restaurant prepares around 150 such parathas every day and it takes around 50-60 kg of flour, potato, 40-50 kg of onion and 2-3 kg of dry fruits per day. The parathas weigh around 1 kg, almost 2 feet in diameter and stuffed with 700 grams of veggies and spices, one paratha will cost you from ₹150 – ₹350. The parathas are prepared on a huge tawa which is almost the equal size of five such tawas combined.
The highly recommended parathas at this restaurant are Aloo pyaaz, aloo gobhi pyaaz, paneer, paneer pyaaz and gobhi paneer paratha.
