Telangana will soon have a sprawling 1,000-acre zoological park near Hyderabad. In an effort to boost tourism in the state, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has outlined a few plans and this zoological park is one of them. For this project, the state has taken inspiration from Anant Ambani’s Vantara animal shelter in Jamnagar.

To enhance tourism in the state, Telangana will soon build a 1,000-acre zoological park near Hyderabad. Tapping into the massive potential of its historic temples, verdant forest areas, and health services, the state has outlined several tourism plans along these categories. For the massive zoological park, they have taken inspiration from Anant Ambani’s Vantara animal shelter in Jamnagar.

As per The Times of India report, this zoological park near Hyderabad will be home to a wide range of animals and birds. They all will be sourced from various regions. Besides that, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has also asked his officials to study the feasibility of initiating safaris in the Kawal and Amrabad forest areas. If all things work well, they will also build cottages at prominent tourist spots to facilitate overnight stays. With this, they hope to give tourists a chance to experience the scenic beauty of Telangana.

To boost tourism in Telangana, CM A. Revanth Reddy is focussing on temple tourism, eco-tourism, and health tourism. The state is now drawing inspiration from other successful tourism destinations to make Telangana an attractive hotspot for local and international tourists. As per reports, the state government plans to provide comprehensive transport, accommodation, and other amenities for tourists.

Furthermore, the state also shared plans to use the 200 acres of land in Ananthagiri for health tourism. Inspired by the Jindal Naturecure Institute in Bengaluru, this massive project will make Hyderabad a prominent hub for medical tourism.
