Tentative Dates For Qatar Grand Prix For MotoGP™ 2024 Have Been Announced, Take a Look!

There is something absolutely thrilling about standing next to netted fences that separates you from zooming cars (or bikes) as they complete laps at godspeed. Not to mention, the cheering crowds of excited supporters, certainly add to the thrilling experience of attending a race. And if you too wish to experience this, at least once in your lifetime, then there is probably no better place to do so than at the Qatar Grand Prix. As the 2024 MotoGP season will kick off in Qatar, here’s all you need to know about the tentative dates for the much-awaited event.

As it happens, the provisional dates have been revealed for Qatar Grand Prix. Kicking off 2024 MotoGP, it is supposed to take place between March 8, Friday and March 10, which is a Sunday next year. While these dates are still subject to approval by the FIM, which is the sport’s governing body, it does shed some light on the upcoming event. The season will kick off at Qatar’s Lusail International Circuit, which is just four months after the conclusion of the current season, which ends on November 19.

Pre-Season Tests To Begin In February 2024

It’s worth mentioning that Qatar has been a starting point for the championship for the last 16 consecutive seasons before its break in 2023. This has been due to extensive renovation works happening on the circuit. Car racing enthusiasts will, however, get the first glimpse of the next year’s grid in November this year. As the one-day test session is scheduled for November 28, Tuesday at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. It’s worth mentioning that the pre-season testing for 2024 will begin in February. This will start with the Shakedown Test and Unofficial Test at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit. However, Qatar will host the official pre-season test in February and the official schedule for the date starts from February 19 to 20.
