In a recent episode of Tere Gully Mein, we explored Ghatkopar’s famous Khaugalli with fashion critic Sufi Motiwala. You must have seen Sufi’s ruthless review reels on Instagram, where he critiques celebrity appearances at Cannes or even people’s outfits at the Ambani wedding. He’s known for his straightforward, no-nonsense reviews, without any sugarcoating. With his sharp and unapologetic fashion critiques, Sufi spares no one, not even Aishwarya Rai!
But this time, instead of critiquing bizarre fashion choices, he took on the challenge of reviewing some truly unusual food fusions, from a breadless sandwich to a paan milkshake; he tried it all. Along the way, he opened up about his life and his recent appearance on the show Traitors and even played fun games where his sharp wit made quite an impact. Let’s see how it all went down.
Sufi Motiwala Reviews Ghatkopar’s Viral Food
In this episode, the first food combo we tried was a Breadless Sandwich. A sandwich without bread? Sounds impossible, right? But in Mumbai, anything is possible. Made by layering vegetables one over the other, the dish didn’t impress Sufi at all. He said, “I would rate it for the effort that they are trying to keep the sandwich healthy by putting just vegetables, lekin is dish ka koi ghar nahi hai, iska koi base nahi hai; it’s an empty dish. So, I would like to rate it a 4/10.’’ When it comes to fashion, Sufi reviews everything with proper reasoning, and he brings the same honest and analytical approach to food reviews as well.
The next food fusion we tried was a Paan Milkshake, and guess what he rated it? It was 0/10 for him. He even gave this milkshake a creative name, ‘Anhoni.’ The food combo that he finally liked was Kurkure Momos and Monacan (Monaco biscuits layered with mayo and veggies), and finally, he rated them 8/10.

Sneak-Peak Into The Show ‘Traitors’
We asked Sufi Motiwala to give us some insight into the show ‘Traitors’ and whether it’s scripted or not. As always, in his signature style, Sufi said, “Babe, I wish unhone thoda bohot script kar liya hota, because the person who ended up winning the show really shouldn’t have won.” He spoke about the intense, unscripted fights on the show, including his clash with Raftaar and the fight between Apoorva and Uorfi. It all happened naturally, in the moment.
Sufi even compared the Traitors to Bigg Boss, pointing out that in Traitors, eliminated contestants don’t get a chance to meet the others. Dealing with emotions on the show was tough, as people were eliminated without even getting to say goodbye; it felt like the actual death of a player. Their sudden absence hit hard because they would simply disappear the very next day.
He even shared who he would never be friends with from the show, talked about who needs to get a makeover in the industry, and more. To get all the tea, watch the full episode on the Curly Tales YouTube channel.
