In a special Kanpur edition of Tere Gully Mein, we explored the vibrant streets of the city with none other than Kapil Kanpuriya, one of the most relatable and beloved content creators from Uttar Pradesh. While we were driving to Banarasi Tea Stall, Kapil opened up about how he can’t even imagine living in any other city besides Kanpur. Here’s what he said.
Kapil Kanpuriya About Not Living In Kanpur
Kapil Kanpuriya is a true blue Kanpur boy! Despite the fame and opportunities, the Uttar Pradesh lad has no plans to move to fast-paced cities like Delhi and Mumbai. And it’s not like he has never tried. He shared that he moved to Delhi for work and even then his only thoughts were about work, saving up, and coming back to Kanpur. “Uss time bhi socha tha, chahe toh chai ki dukaan hi daal lunga but Kanpur main hi rehna hai,” he revealed.
So, there are no plans to shift to big cities, even in the future? “Nahi, maan hi nahi hai. Bilkul nahi. Soch bhi nahi sakta. Kanpur nahi toh Lucknow, Yeah Kanpur-Lucknow se bahut lagav hai. Mumbai toh list main bhi nahi hai. Kaam hoga toh chala jaunga, rukunga lekin rehna nahi hai. Mujhe woh bhaaga-daudi nahi pasand hai,” Kapil Kanpuriya honeslthy shared.

Everything We Ate In Kanpur
Kapil Kanpuriya gave us a tour of Kanpur, where we indulged in some of the city’s most iconic and beloved eateries. We started with a hearty breakfast at the famous Rajkumar Kachehri Wale, and enjoyed their famous chole bhature. Then, we headed to Pappu Samosa Wala, where we even tried the sweet samosa. Of course, we had to check out Thaggu Ke Laddoo, and that’s where we headed next! Finally, for a kadak cup of chai, we made a pitstop at Banarasi Tea Stall.
