The 25th Dubai Shopping Festival’s Opening Weekend Is Going To Be LIT

Unleash the shopaholic in you, as the 25th edition of Dubai’s Shopping Festival (DSF) is just around the corner. This 38-day long shopping festival will have a Grand Opening event at the Burj Park, Downtown Dubai on 26th and 27th December 2019. From music performances by global artists, thrilling firework display, dance performances, a traditional souk experience to even exciting giveaways, you have an array of amazing things in store for you. So mark your calendars for this opening event, and get ready to shop till you drop, all the way till 1st Februrary 2020.

 12-Hour Sale At Shopping Outlets

The 25th Dubai Shopping Festival is going to launch with a bang. And you can enjoy a 12-hour sale, getting 25 to 90 per cent off at six Majid Al Futtaim’s (MAF) malls this Thursday, on 26th December from 12 pm to midnight. If you shop your hearts out for more than AED 300 at any of the participating stores, then you can be one of the lucky winners of a MAF gift card worth AED 10,000. Yup! World-Class Fireworks Display

The skies will be adorned with vibrant splashes of colours to announce the opening of the Dubai Shopping Festival. Throughout the course of this 38 days festival, fireworks will paint the skies across certain locations in Dubai in style.

Music Performances By Global Artists

An interesting lineup of global artists will be here to entertain you during the Grand DSF Launch. Sherine Abdel Wahab, Cheb Khaled and Emirati singing superstar Hussain Al Jassmi will be performing on Thursday, 26th of December at the Burj Park, Downtown Dubai. British singing sensation and former One Direction member Liam Payne and English singer and songwriter Jorja Smith will delight you on Friday, 27th December. The best part? Well, the admission for this global music event is totally free.

A special hologram concert dedicated to the late Egyptian singer Umm Kulthum will be held on 26th and 27th December at Dubai Opera. Along with the hologram opera concert, witness the magic of a live orchestra by 20 musicians and a mesmerising performance by the late Umm Kulthum’s granddaughter Sana’a Nabil. To make this 25th edition of DSF a special one, pop markets will be set up all across Dubai providing you with an unlimited shopping experience, global entertainment, and innovative retail experiences with a blend of the heritage of the city. On 26th December at 3 pm all the way till midnight, Al Seef Market will be launched to give you everything under the sun be it shopping, dining and thrilling events all in one spot. Apart from Al Seef Market, there will be a host of other markets to visit. Al Khawaneeji Market will open on 26th December from 6 pm till 12 am.
