Dubai Culture and Arts Authority recently revealed that the Reading Box is coming back to Dubai for its eighth season. Scheduled to take place in October, this event is expected to feature more than 45 workshops and reading sessions. The Reading Box is making its way back to Dubai for its eighth edition this October. Starting on October 4, which is a Wednesday, this event will go on till October 13. The newest addition as revealed by the Dubai Cultural and Arts Authority, will feature plenty of exciting activities for attendees. Yes, the event will be happening at the City Centre Mirdif and the public will be able to partake in diverse reading sessions, cultural & creative workshops, poetry & art evenings, and of course even entertainment activities. Not to mention, these will be presented by a selection of Emirati and UAE-based writers.

Sessions Led By Writers For Both Adults And Children
As it happens, this edition will include more than 45 workshops and reading sessions! Not just for adult adults, the reading session will also include something for your little munchkin, such as the ‘Lennie & the Three Paper Boats’ by Mariam Bin Tarish. A workshop for children between the ages of five and nine years, this will include a captivating storytelling session where they will get to discover how the characters find courage and patience while they navigate through the stormy islands.
Moreover, the event will be offering something even for adults, such as a session titled ‘Guardians of the Digital Realm: Securing Our Future Together’ led by Nebras Alqurashi and ‘Soar with the Green Sheikh’ led by Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi.
It’s worth mentioning that these activities will be taking place daily between 10 AM and 9 PM, so don’t forget to check it out with your fellow bibliophiles.
