The Jagannath Puri temple in Odisha dates back to the 12th century and is one of the oldest temples of India. Kamiya Jani meets Mr. VK Pandian who is the chairperson of the Vision 5T in Odisha. He talked extensively about the Shri Mandir Parikrama project happening at Jagannath Puri. This project has tackled immense challenges of crowded markets, hotels, and lodges around 75 metres of the temple. This initiative is dedicated to creating a divine experience for the devotees. Major initiatives include a beautiful new corridor being built around the temple, an amphitheatre to see the flag changing ceremony, walking pathways, cloakrooms, parking spaces, a new road to reach the temple, and so much more.
