Apart from the vibrant mix of cultures and traditions, India is also a land of multiple gods and goddesses, each with their own temples that devotees can visit. Here are 5 new temples India will soon add to its already long list.

1.Ram Mandir, Ayodhya

After much debate about the temple’s origin point, it was revealed that a section of the Ram Mandir will finally be available for the public to visit. The dimensions of the Ram Mandir are believed to be 380 feet long and 250 feet wide standing at 161 feet tall. The Sanctum Sanctorum is said to measure 20 feet by 20 feet, with a total area of 403.34 square feet. The construction of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is anticipated to be completed by October 2023.

2. Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, Vrindhavan

While the temple itself is in its early stages of construction, devotees will soon be able to witness the devotional marvel of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir post its completion. The temple will be considered the tallest religious monument in the world owing to its height reaching up to 700 feet or 213 meters. The temple is situated in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.

3. Om Ashram Temple, Jadan, Rajasthan

Spread across an expansive area of 250 acres, this monumental structure at its core will become the world’s largest man-made representation of the sacred symbol OM. Within its design, 108 residential compartments will be artfully arranged to embody the OM symbol.

Additionally, a serene lake will be created to embody the crescent Moon, a significant element of the OM symbol. Rising majestically, the central point of the symbol, known as the Bindu, will be constructed as a towering structure standing 108 feet tall and adorned with 12 temples

At a height of 90 feet, a large water tank will be positioned above, and further above, a Surya temple will be erected in honour of the Lord of the Sun.

4.Mahakal Lok Temple, Ujjain

Shri Mahakal Lok Puranic Sarovar is currently under construction along the banks of the Rudra Sagar River. The site will showcase approximately 200 sculptures and murals depicting various religious figures such as Lord Shiva and Goddess Sati.

An interesting feature is that devotees can scan a mural to gain additional information about it. Within Mahakal Lok, visitors can explore seven rishis, Navagraha Mandal, the depiction of the slaying of Tripurasura, Shiva’s presence in a lotus pond, 108 pillars symbolizing Shiva’s Anand Tandav, a monumental Shiva Stambh, and impressive statues of Nandi positioned at the main entrance.

Additionally, the Mahakal Corridor boasts the distinction of being the nation’s first night garden.

5.Virat Ramayana Mandir, Patna, Bihar

The Virat Ramayana Mandir in Janki, Patna is said to surpass the currently under-construction  Ram Mandir in  Ayodha in terms of being the largest temple in India. The temple will stretch up to 280 feet in length and spread 540 feet in width, making it bigger in size compared to the Ayodhya temple, which is said to measure 360 feet in length and 235 feet in width., currently.
