Everybody knows that Hera is one of the most important heritage sites in Saudi Arabia. And in fact, it’s the first UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. And now, after it was announced that the Chedi Hegra is coming up at this world heritage site, it has finally opened its doors. Yes, situated in AlUla, the thoughtfully-restored rooms and suites offer stunning views of the surrounding desert-scape that invite guests to experience a fusion of history and culture – all in the lap of opulence.

The Chedi Hegra has finally opened its doors to the guests. Situated in AlUla, it has 35 restored rooms, suites, and villas that are dripping in opulence. Promising an exceptional stay to the guests, the architecture and interiors were led by Milan-based design and architect studio, Gio Forma.

The 700-m long structure, Shadow Canopy has to be the show-stopping attraction, which is situated in the centre of the property. However, the hotel offers only a limited number of rooms as it aims to preserve the original structures. And for this purpose, they have incorporated original stoned walls and architectural features for additional rooms.

Wellness Centre Offers Signature Spa Services

Besides the spectacular views of the desert and a luxurious stay, the beautiful hotel also offers spa facilities. From a private pool, which is now open to their signature treatments at their spa, it’s bound to leave guests feeling rejuvenated after their stay. In fact, at the 1200-square metre spa and wellness centre is also situated in the historic mud villa that will be opening in a couple of months.

It will have sauna, steam rooms, and post-treatment, relaxation areas that will make it the perfect place to relax for guests. Besides this, the hotel also offers a variety of experiences, which includes everything from guided tours of the UNESCO site to exploration of the wildlife and nature in Hegra.
