What’s In It?
Maharashtra Nature Park is 41 acres of land which consists of migrated birds, rare butterflies, and huge trees. You’ll find species of birds like Purple Sunbird, Little Green Bee Eater, Laughing Dove, Shikara, Blue Throat, Greater Coucal, Eurasian Wryneck, and more.
Looking for wild snakes? This nature park is the home to the cobra and more like the Green Viper and the Russel Viper. Along with that, you can spot over 40 species of colorful butterflies here including Indian Rock Bee, Pumpkin beetle and Coromandel Marsh Dart.
If you’re a green lover, you can spot nearly 13,000 trees belonging to 300 species in this park too. The birds chirping, the greenery, and the colorful butterflies make this a wonderful spot to enjoy a Sunday picnic with family or even a first date with bae!
