This museum will showcase Nintendo’s 135-year history and will display a wide variety of its products over the years. The company announced their intention to open this museum in 2021. The museum is built on the site of the old Uji Ogura Plant, where the company used to make trading cards as well as repair toys and consoles, The Indian Express reported.
As per Nintendo Museum’s official website, the museum will have a gallery that will “showcase the many products the company has launched over its history.” The museum construction was completed in May 2024. And in an online live on August 19, Nintendo’s legendary designer Shigeru Miyamoto gave a sneak peek of the museum to all the fans.
