We say this because it is expected that only eight days of school may be functional for several institutions in the UAE. Here’s how this may happen.

Starting on Sunday, the first days of the school will be December 2 and 3, and both of these are holidays as they fall on Union Day. Not to mention, students have their break from November 30 to December 3, as mentioned by the Gulf News. So, after the long weekend, children will return to school on December 4 but will have just three days off work in the week. After this, they will only have another week of school from December 9-13 before the winter break begins. Yes, it is expected that the winter vacations may begin on Monday, December 16 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

If the calculations are correct, then chances are that children might get to go to school for only eight days in December. This means on the remaining days, you can take them to multiple attractions that are opening for the winter months. From Dubai Miracle Garden and the Ripe Market in Dubai to Bubble Planet and Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi, both cities offer plenty of exciting indoor and outdoor attractions that you wouldn’t want to miss. Not to mention, there are several festivals and family-friendly events that are taking over for the month.

We suggest that you get on with the planning right away, so that you can spend some time with your little munchkin.
