Relaying the story of ‘Murder at the Speakeasy: Show Me How You Burlesque’ at Flashback Speakeasy Bar & Lounge, this show is going to make you enter the glamorous era of the 20s.
A New Show At Flashback Speakeasy Bar & Lounge
Bringing the award-winning dining experience, the Flashback Speakeasy Bar & Lounge at the Paramount Hotel Dubai has transformed its place into something straight out of the roaring 20s. Yes, with their story of Show Me How You Burlesque, you will enter the splendid era and the world of mystery. They invite guests to experience a show that’s filled with favourite songs, performances, and even a nostalgic twist for the returning people. All this while, they will get to dive into their delectable four-course tasting menu that will be served during the show. Of course, this will be accompanied by free-flowing drink packages with the story progressing in each course. So, as the audience is entranced by the stunning performances unfolding in front of their eyes, they will certainly be in for a night of crime-solving and indulging in drool-worthy offerings.
What Can You Expect From The Performance?
It’s worth mentioning that guests will also have the honour of singing along with the live vocal performance that will be taking place during the show. Not to mention, these performances will be brought to them by renowned performers, which includes fan favourites like Andrea Laguna and Lexie. Yes, they will be taking the new roles of Ruby and Gloria with the promise of offering an even more captivating performance. Not to mention, Eleonora Barbacini will step into the role of Violet, the essence of mystery and grace. There is also a new member in the Flashback Speakeasy family, Toi Dupras, who will also be taking a first role as Delilah.
Coming to the storyline, diners will be transported to the 1920s at Minskey’s in New York. The speakeasy is owned by Mr Minskey, who is also a bootlegger and crime boss. However, when he is murdered, the killer must not go free. So, guests are tasked with the job of determining the perpetrators and then bringing them to justice.

It’s worth mentioning that since this story unfolds in the 1920s, everyone is encouraged to dress up in the 1920 burlesque attire to fully immerse themselves in the experience. So, as they indulge in a night full of music, food, and crime-solving, they will also get to step into an alternate reality while being transported to the glitzy world of iconic films, like Burlesque and Cabaret. As it happens, tables are already up for booking and the show happens every Thursday from 8 PM to 11 PM. However, it’s worth mentioning that the packages begin at AED299 for soft drink, house package of AED399, and a bubbly package of AED550.
